Cupcakes!

After spending an hour at the post office (mostly waiting around) to get a PO Box and mail a lawyer contract, I stopped by my favorite cupcake bakery since it was only a few blocks farther and who doesn't love cupcakes? I bought a Red Velvet, a Strawberry (with a huge strawberry mounted on top, drizzled with chocolate syrup), and this vanilla with buttercream frosting (and rainbow sprinkles!). Dropped it off at Kara's place for the girls to snack on while they endlessly debated where to go for a quick Caribbean vacation on the cheap. (Answer: Dominican Republic, 3 days, all inclusive, non-stop flight, 8 per person. Wow.)

Gottschalks & Schwarzenegger always use
the homeless and down and out for their
"petition drives" and human signs. Cheapest labor.
Consistent with their anti-union stand. Ironically,
the Gottschalks were big contributors to Schwarzeneggers
campaign. He hasn't done much for the working people
of California--actually he's given us all "vacations" from
low-wage jobs to unemployment! These pictures seem to get
uglier. Notice "Starbucks" in background.
One of Gottchalks managers came out to tell me that I
couldn't "photograph" "anything with a company name" and
that I "couldn't photograph the building with the Gottschalks name"
either. Pathetic little man standing in the parking lot of a dead
society telling me what I could or couldn't do.
