Among the great lineup of signature cocktails at the Holiday Inn SunSpree Resort Montego Bay, the Holicure stands out for one primary reason: it's STRONG!! This one's certainly not for the faint of heart (or liver), but if you feel up to a challenge, here's the recipe...
Combine an ounce of Appleton Special Gold Rum, a 1/2oz of white tequila and a 1/2oz of creme-de-banana in a 10oz glass. Next, add a splash each of creme-de-cocoa and fresh lime juice. Fill to the halfway point with equal parts OJ and pineapple juice. Finally, add ice, stir and fasten your seat belt!

Since the Sun Beach Bar didn't have any umbrellas we went searching for greener pastures up the beach. The Palms turned out to be perfectly amenable to us taking over some beach chairs and an umbrella as long as we patronized the bar and restaurant. The bartender was really friendly and helpful and their jerk chicken was the best I had the whole trip. In addition, the beach hustlers pretty much left us entirely alone here. I can't speak to the accommodations, but it was an excellent place to hang out for the day.
