One of the most popular signature cocktails at the Holiday Inn SunSpree Resort Montego Bay, the Flamingo may not be pink, but it certainly won't leave you feeling blue. Here's the recipe:
In a 10oz glass, combine an ounce of overproof Jamaican rum, plus a splash each of Blue Curacao, strawberry syrup and fresh lime juice. Fill your glass about halfway with Sprite, add ice and a dash of Angostura bitters. Stir it up and enjoy!

This former cocktail waitress from Westmoreland, Jamaica developed them all herself. Just another example of how this resort is 100% Jamaican through and through!

Back from the heat

Hey folks! I hope everyone had a great christmas/new years/holiday.
Em and I returned on Tuesday from the awesome 25C+ sunny weather of Holguin, Cuba. It was great and very relaxing. I'll be posting up more pictures soon, we have exceeded our monthly bandwidth cap with Rogers, and they charge and arm and two legs for going over your limit.
