a friend of mine works for color kinetics, this LED lighting company that does big honking installations like the light sculptures at the los angeles airport, the set of "deal or no deal", hard rock hotelin vegas, the london eye....and maybe my 6'x12' garden in la. we were playing with a fixture he's trying to sell me. we threw enough light to highlight the bogeyman, nick cave, in the corner under the camellia, but also to illuminate the police helicopter flying overhead. whooo!
(there is a preprogammed computer chip in the fixture that changes the light colour every 12 seconds)
